In the 1960s, Cesbe was responsible for the construction of the building of the Secretaries of State of Paraná (Edifício Castello Branco), an Oscar Niemeyer project, a building that at the time held the record for a concrete span. After almost 40 years, acall for bids was published for the construction of the Paraná Art Museum, named “Novo Museu”, in 2002.Precisely because of its history, it was natural for the company to be interested in getting the contract. After winning the competition, CESBE was chosen to carry out the work. The deadline for the construction of the New Museum was set at 185 days, an extremely short period for a job of this size.
