Five months after the announcement of international expansion of Cesbe S.A. Engenharia e Empreendimentos to Peru, the company won the public bidding promoted by Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento del Perú and is about to start the implementation of its first work in the neighboring country. Cesbe Branch del Perú, in consortium with Peruvian construction Marquisa and the Spanish designer company Ingesa, will be responsible for the execution of works of water system improvements and sewage treatment of Challhuahuacho District, Province of Cotabambas, Department of Apurimac.
“We participated in the competition and we consecrated ourselves winners thanks to the joint expertise of the consortium partners. In this project, as a leader, Cesbe plans to contribute its extensive experience in management and history of meeting deadlines in similar projects”, says Gilberto Caviglia, director of new business of Cesbe.
From the beginning, the goal of Cesbe in Peru is to act strongly in sanitation projects, as well as energy. “We realized that the Peruvian market offers great opportunities and intends to take to the country our technical excellence, working in the same way that we have been acting over seventy years in Brazil, righteously, prioritizing the quality and appreciation of people”, says Ocimar Born, of Cesbe Branch of Peru.
The project scope includes the development of the executive project for the first six months and the construction of works and the supply and installation of all materials and equipment within 12 months. “In addition to the challenge of building this first work in a new country, with local labor use, the unique complexity of a project situated at 3,700 meters above sea level it is added”, says the Cesbe´s engineer, Marco Antonio Stavis.
