Cesbe Engenharia is finalizing two more important pulp and paper projects: Bracell’s Star Project Lumber and Fiber Line Yard. The company was hired on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) basis by Andritz to carry out the works. At Lumber Yard, Cesbe has just conquered the important mark of 1,260,846 man-hours worked without lost-time accidents, out of a total of 2 million man-hours without lost-time accidents, in the project as a whole.
This result was only possible thanks to the commitment of Cesbe teams to the best work safety practices. These policies are systematically implemented through various
trainings, notices and qualifications carried out in and out the field.
According to Enzo Chamma, Health, Safety and Environment manager at Cesbe, the company invests in a series of initiatives to ensure the health and safety of employees. “Our actions encompass all works, the Central, DMV and DSC. We are very happy to know that the work we are developing is making the difference in the health and well-being of our employees”, he points out.
